By Clarence A. Ellis, Gary J. Nutt (auth.), Marco Ajmone Marsan (eds.)

This quantity includes the court cases of the 14th overseas convention onApplication and thought of Petri Nets. the purpose of the Petri internet meetings is to create a discussion board for discussing growth within the program and idea of Petri nets. quite often, the meetings have 150-200 individuals, one 3rd of whom come from undefined, whereas the remainder are from universities and study institutes. the quantity comprises 3 invited papers, "Modeling and enactment of workflow structures" (C.A. Ellis, G.J. Nutt), "Interleaving practical and function structural research of web types" (M. Silva), and "FSPNs: fluid stochastic Petri nets" (K.S. Trivedi, V.G. Kulkarni), including 26 complete papers (selected from 102 submissions) and six venture papers.

The second feature set consists of maximum and minimum values of the integral of the optical flow. The second set is more effective than the first one since this feature set has not only silence (pause) information but also opening/closing information of the mouth. Each feature set is combined with an acoustic feature set using the feature-fusion method in the framework of HMM-based recognition. Triphone HMMs are trained using the combined parameter sets extracted from clean speech data. Noise-corrupted speech recognition experiments have been carried out using audio-visual data from 11 male speakers uttering connected digits.
